Agriculture is part of the 3rd grade Waldorf curriculum, and the Westgarden is the living classroom for the Whidbey Island Waldorf School. Students come to the Westgarden weekly during the growing season and engage in all sorts of activities from planting starts, watering, making nettle fertilizer, making biodynamic preparations, trellising peas, and tasting all the delicious garden offerings!
